Q: How do I send the first encrypted message?
A: In order to send the first encrypted message, follow these steps:
Create a new contact ( Contacts > Add ).
The phone number must be added in international format. E.g. +4467090376169.
Generate an Asymmetric key-pair to be used for the key exchange ( Keys Management > Asymmetric Options > Encryption Algorithm > ECC/RSA ).
It is recommended to use Elliptic Curve algorithm on mobile platforms.
Send a request for a new AES key to the other party ( Keys Management > Symmetric Options > Request new AES key ).
To complete the key-exchange process, wait for an AES key to be replied from the other party.
Look for the key icon next to the contact, to verify a successful key-exchange.
To send a new Encrypted Message, enter the context and choose a contact from the list ( Messaging > Create Message ).


Q: I want to renew the AES key that I have shared with one of my contacts. What should I do?
A: In order to renew an AES key, do the following:
Delete the key which belongs to the contact ( Keys Management > Symmetric Options > Delete AES key ).
Send a key request to the designated contact ( Keys Management > Symmetric Options > Request new AES key).


Q: I want to generate a new Asymmetric key-pair. How can I do it?
A: There is a menu entry to generate a new Asymmetric key-pair, based on the previous selection of Algorithm and key-length ( Keys Management > Asymmetric Options > New Key-pair ).
